to the CAEX-Subcamp
at HOME 2018!

„HOME 2018 – here, there and everywhere“ – our subcamp shall be a living room in which all Upper Austrian, Austrian and international Caravelles and Explorer feel at home and comfortable! Together we want to think about, what’s the meaning of home for us. Where do we feel at home and why? What happens when we have to leave our home – where can we settle down and feel at home again? 

At home at Home 2018

The Market place will be the centre of our subcamp. Everyone can find his place there to find and meet friends – caravelles, explorer and their leaders. Food trucks will provide sustenance, a small stage offers opportunities for music, theatre and presentations of our international guest scouts. You can also find the “Challenge-Homebase”, the CaEx technique as well as the “Salzamt” – an info-point for all concerns. On the market place five gates will lead the way to the further “sub-subcamps”. 

The CAEX Leaders will get a home port there too, where they can meet apart from their group.

The caravelles and explorer subcamp is divided in five further camp parts, which all will be given the name “home” – although in different languages. The subcamp allocation respectively the contact information of your partnering group has been sent to you via email at the end of march and we hope, that you are already busy having contact to each other.

You will create your Homebase at HOME 2018 together with your assigned partnering group with which you will live and cook together during the jamboree. Together with your assigned partner group, you will define and plan a c and stay overnight outside the jamboree campsite.

In spring 2018 you were informed who will be your partnering group. Use the time before the jamboree to learn to know each other and to create your Homebase.
