Surely you'll ask yourself:
making a scout camp even more eco-friendly – how is that possible?

The idea of it is quite simple and we want to explain it to you. More than 4.000 kids, adolescents and adults will spend a great time together in August. Most important will be creating a peaceful Jamboree together, where all participants should get the feeling of having reached at home.

Considering that our environment contibutes it’s share. It provides us the meadows, where we build up our tents, firewood for cosy campfires and making warm food possible daily. Not to forget, that all our groceries in some way have its origin in our environment. In short: we make ourselves comfortable in nature's living room. And as usual in life, we want to be well behaving guests.

That's why all scout and guide groups are invited to participate in the ëco HOME challenge!

Create cool, unusual, ecologic valuable ideas, how your own camp area can be organized even more energy-efficient or ecosensitive.

From a self built solar system to an idea for waste recycling – there are no limits to your ideas.
