10 days adventure:
The Camp life
At HOME 2018, you will create your own ‚HOME‘ using simple means but with a lot of creativity. You will cook for yourselves on an open fire. Spending the evenings not only around campfires, but also at parties or at an outdoor concert.
The Jamboree consists of the three sub-camps, compromising the GuSp, CaEx and RaRo age sections. Cubs (WiWö) will attend on one day to visit and explore with great curiosity the whole campsite experience.
The sub-camps once again split into small patrol units, in which you will participate in everyday camp life and many parts of the programme, and in the CaEx and RaRo sections together with international participants.
Other areas offer opportunities for your leisure needs: sports centres, spiri-tent, cafes and refreshment bars as well as the Scoutshop for purchasing souvenirs. The Dürre Ager River flows through the middle of the campsite and provides a cooling oasis on hot days. Alternatively it isn‘t too far to the Attersee mountain lake for a cooling dip.
Campconstructions
We are glad, if scout typical constructions are built at the Jamboree, regardless if as functional as to be used as cooking place or just to be beautiful. Construction wood is included in the camp fee and every participant is provided 4.5 meters log wood and planks how many as needed (FAIR USE!)
We have decided not to give any regulations concerning camp constructions and they will not be inspected by us.
The responsibility for secure construction and usage are incumbent to constructor and „operator“ – thats why the responsibility for any accidents or consequences. Safety in construction starts in planning, goes over construction, usage (climbing, sitting, ...) and ends after deconstruction.
