Climate

The ‘Attergau’ area is well known as a popular holiday destination. In August, you can expect sunny, hot days (above 30° C) and occasional heavy summer rainstorms and cold nights (down to 10 degrees). Even if we expect good weather, remember the Scout Motto: Be Prepared!

Personal Equipment

You are experienced enough to know, what’s the proper equipment. Most important items are:

• warm sleeping bag (see climate)
• waterbottle and appropriate sunscreen
• waterproof gear, sturdy shoes

GRoup-Equipment

You will need to provide your own tentage and cooking equipment suitable for open fires. Our international guests are advised to get in contact with the partnering group in that concerns. The partnering groups are asked to support their forein groups at its best. If you really have no way to organise or bring camping equipment, please get in touch with us via email to   materialhome2018.at. We can only provide equipment in exceptional cases but maybe we can find a way to do that

Firewood is provided by us. Any other fuel for camping stoves has to be brought on your own.
